Abstract

The adoption of digital payment systems witnessed a significant surge during the COVID-19 pandemic, as consumers turned to contactless methods to ensure safety and convenience. This study explores consumer trust in digital payment systems from a post-pandemic perspective, focusing on the factors that influence trust, such as security, ease of use, and regulatory measures. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, including surveys and interviews, this research examines how consumer perceptions of digital payment platforms have evolved post-pandemic. The findings reveal that while security remains a dominant concern, factors such as improved user experience, transparency, and the implementation of stronger regulatory frameworks have enhanced trust. The study also discusses the role of technology in reinforcing consumer confidence and the future prospects of digital payment systems in a rapidly changing economic environment.
