Pollinators play a vital role in enhancing agricultural productivity by facilitating the reproduction of many crop species. Their contribution is essential for the production of fruits, vegetables, nuts, and oilseeds, directly influencing both yield and quality. This ecological service, primarily carried out by bees, butterflies, birds, and other insects, supports biodiversity and ensures food security. However, pollinator populations are declining due to habitat loss, pesticide use, climate change, and disease, posing a significant threat to global agricultural systems. Recognizing the economic and ecological importance of pollinators, this paper explores their role in crop pollination, the factors affecting their health, and sustainable strategies to promote pollinator-friendly farming practices. Strengthening pollinator conservation is imperative for maintaining resilient agricultural ecosystems and achieving long-term food sustainability.Published
