Abstract

The integration of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) in education is transforming traditional teaching methodologies and learning experiences. By immersing students in interactive environments and overlaying digital information onto the real world, VR and AR facilitate experiential learning that engages multiple senses. These technologies enhance student motivation and retention by providing realistic simulations and contextually enriched content. This paper employs a meta-analysis of existing literature on the applications of VR and AR in educational settings, focusing on their impacts on student engagement, learning retention, and pedagogical effectiveness.
