In the digital age of today, where classrooms are becoming more immersive with the feasibility of the metaverse, students are presented with an opportunity to expand their learning by being capable of taking part in virtual simulations and engaging in collaborative activities with other learners from around the world. Other than this, they are given endless access to digital resources, from lectures to textbooks to assessments (Abraham et al., 2023). But as this era unfolds, we must ask: Will it redefine the future of teacher-student relationships for the better, or will there be new challenges?Published
