A STUDY ON INVESTOR’S PERCEPTION TOWARDS MUTUAL FUND

Abstract

Mutual funds have emerged as a popular investment vehicle, especially among individual investors seeking diversification, professional management, and comparatively lower risks. This study aims to analyze the perception of investors towards mutual fund investments by examining their awareness levels, investment preferences, and factors influencing their decision-making processes. The results suggest that while awareness about mutual funds is growing, several misconceptions and hesitations still exist, especially concerning risk and return expectations.
