Abstract

This research investigates the pivotal role of organisational culture in shaping employee behaviour, focusing on how cultural values, leadership practices, and workplace systems influence individual and group conduct within organisations. Using a quantitative, survey-based approach, data was collected from 70 organisations across manufacturing and service sectors, encompassing diverse geographical areas and organisational sizes. The study examined core cultural values, the influence of culture on employee behaviour, leadership's role in shaping culture, and potential improvements to foster a more supportive environment. The findings reveal that teamwork and collaboration are the most deeply embedded and positively perceived cultural elements, consistently promoted by leadership and seen as crucial to fostering employee engagement.
