Abstract

This study explores the transformation and reinterpretation of feminist themes within contemporary dystopian fiction. By conducting a comparative analysis of selected works, the research investigates how modern dystopian narratives challenge traditional feminist ideologies, addressing issues such as gender roles, power structures, and resistance in oppressive societies. The paper highlights the evolving representation of female agency and identity, illustrating how dystopian settings provide a critical platform for reexamining feminist concerns in the context of socio-political upheaval and technological advancement. Ultimately, the study contributes to the understanding of feminism’s adaptive strategies and its portrayal in speculative literature, offering insights into the intersection of gender and dystopia in the 21st century.
