The vision of Viksit Bharat-a developed India-is intricately linked to transforming education and equipping youth with future-ready skills during Amrit Kaal, a pivotal era in India's journey towards its centenary of independence. As India stands at the crossroads of transformation in Amrit Kaal, education and skilling emerge as the twin pillars of national progress. This paper explores the critical role of education as a cornerstone for national development, emphasizing the integration of innovative teaching methodologies, Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), and global best practices. It highlights the importance of skilling youth in alignment with emerging technologies, industry demands, and sustainable development goals (SDGs). The study addresses key challenges in bridging gaps between traditional pedagogy and modern needs while proposing actionable frameworks for curriculum reform, experiential learning, and digital empowerment.
