Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) led by women are pivotal to India’s ambition of becoming a developed nation by 2047, termed "Viksit Bharat @2047." Women-owned MSMEs contribute significantly to GDP, employment, and innovation, particularly in underserved communities. This review examines the role of women in MSMEs, their contributions to economic growth and employment generation, and the challenges they face. It also discusses policy measures and interventions that can empower women entrepreneurs to drive inclusive development.Published
