CHALLENGES REGARDING SOCIAL PRIVACY DURING AI ERA

Abstract

Being a social animal from ancient and even the primal era, Humans have always prioritized the privacy factor from the very beginning of society. Privacy is described as an act or provision of keeping some personal behaviours, habits of any particular human remaining aloof from the surveillance of society through people or devices or systems. Nowadays, the era is going through a sea transformation with the help of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution. Simultaneously, it is being found that even the way or pattern of the usage of social media nowadays has been changed under the influence of the incorporation of AI technologies in social media and society itself. This change has unfortunately become more tilted towards compromising the social privacy of humans rather than protecting it. Today's era has become more tech-savvy and relies more on media feeds, narratives, false propaganda and tarnished explanations of scriptures and epics, which is fueling this social turmoil towards more trivial consequences. In this paper, it has been made to decode the planned sabotage of present society and the privacy of humans as well in the name of freedom and false autonomy by weaponising AI technology and subtle brainwashing of society.
