Abstract

In an era of rapid technological evolution, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is redefining how individuals acquire, refine, and reimagine life skills. This study investigates AI’s transformative role in life skill development, from initial conceptualization to reconceptualization, addressing cognitive, emotional, and social competencies. AI-driven systems—such as intelligent tutoring, adaptive learning platforms, and immersive simulations—offer unprecedented personalization, engagement, and real-world applicability, bridging the limitations of traditional pedagogies. However, alongside these opportunities arise pressing challenges, including ethical concerns, data privacy, and the risk of over-reliance on AI in skill formation. Using a qualitative research approach incorporating literature analysis, expert interviews, and real-world case studies, this study critically examines AI’s impact on life skills training. Findings reveal that AI can enhance self-efficacy, resilience, and decision-making, provided it is implemented responsibly within human-centric, ethically governed frameworks. Ultimately, this research underscores AI’s potential to revolutionize life skills education, ensuring greater accessibility, adaptability, and lifelong learning opportunities for diverse populations.
