The advent of artificial intelligence (AI) has ushered in a new era for Ed-tech societies worldwide, and India is no exception. With a burgeoning digital economy and a youthful population, enhancing digital skills is imperative to harness AI's potential while mitigating risks associated with its implementation. This study discusses the current state of digital literacy in India, identifies gaps, and proposes strategic initiatives to bolster educational frameworks and policy interventions. Furthermore, it examines the role of various stakeholders, including government, educational institutions, and private sectors, in fostering an inclusive digital literacy ecosystem. So, this paper advocates for a holistic approach to education that integrates AI concepts and ethical considerations to prepare future generations for the challenges and opportunities of an AI-driven landscape. This paper explores a fare map of digital literacy in higher education to preparing Indian society for an AI-driven future.
