Emotional intelligence (EI) in leadership has emerged as a critical factor influencing employee well-being in organizational settings. Leaders who effectively recognize, understand, and manage their own emotions, as well as those of their employees, create a positive work environment that fosters psychological safety, motivation, and job satisfaction. This paper explores the role of emotional intelligence as a key driver for enhancing employee well-being, emphasizing how emotionally intelligent leadership contributes to reduced stress levels, improved interpersonal relationships, and greater organizational commitment. By integrating theories of EI with leadership practices, the study highlights practical strategies leaders can employ to support their teams' mental and emotional health, ultimately leading to higher productivity and retention. The findings underscore the necessity of incorporating emotional intelligence development into leadership training programs to cultivate resilient and thriving workplaces.Published
