Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly reshaped workplace dynamics, bringing remote work to the forefront of organizational operations. As companies continue to adopt hybrid or fully remote models, understanding the impact of remote work on employee engagement has become a critical area of study. This paper explores the relationship between remote work arrangements and employee engagement in the post-pandemic era. Drawing on recent empirical studies and industry reports, the research highlights key factors influencing engagement, including communication practices, leadership support, work-life balance, and the use of digital collaboration tools. Findings suggest that while remote work can enhance flexibility and job satisfaction, it also presents challenges such as social isolation, communication barriers, and decreased team cohesion. The study concludes with recommendations for organizations to foster a culture of engagement in remote settings by promoting inclusive leadership, leveraging technology effectively, and encouraging regular feedback and recognition.
