By supporting the mother's physical, mental, and spiritual health throughout her pregnancy, Garbh Sanskar, an age-old Indian practice with roots in Vedic and Ayurvedic traditions, promotes the holistic development of the fetus. This chapter examines the ways in which evidence-based prenatal care in the twenty-first century can be effectively combined with the fundamental principles of Garbh Sanskar, such as positive thinking, a healthy diet, mantra chanting, music therapy, yoga, and mindfulness. The chapter offers a comparison of traditional methods and current research, drawing on the wisdom of classical writings such as the Garbha Upanishad and Charaka Samhita as well as current scientific findings on fetal development and maternal health. This work emphasizes the importance of Garbh Sanskar in enhancing maternal well-being, lowering pregnancy-related stress, and fostering the child's early cognitive and emotional development by showcasing the growing interest in holistic prenatal education around the world. In order to promote an interdisciplinary, culturally sensitive approach to contemporary motherhood, the chapter also includes a few case studies, research results, and cultural viewpoints. In order to raise the next generation, it ultimately promotes a balanced synthesis of modern health sciences and Indian knowledge systems.Published
