The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) presents an auspicious approach to progressing sustainability across environmental, economic, and cultural spheres. This study aims to explore how AI technologies can be effectively united with the Indian Knowledge System to address contemporary sustainability challenges. This research employs a qualitative methodology comprising a literature review, expert interviews, and thematic analysis. The findings indicate that AI can significantly improve the scalability and accessibility of IKS-based solutions. For instance, machine learning algorithms can enhance Ayurvedic treatment recommendations, while AI-powered platforms can support precision farming using traditional ecological knowledge. Furthermore, the integration fosters community participation, strengthens cultural identity, and encourages low-carbon, decentralized development models. This research underlines the potential of a hybrid model that balances advanced technologies with traditional knowledge. Such integration not only ensures solutions rooted in tradition but also aligns with India’s vision for inclusive and sustainable development. The study endorses strategic frameworks that encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration and a digital revolution rooted in India’s traditional knowledge systems.Published
