In the last few years mental health issues, especially stress, anxiety, and depression, have become major worldwide health concern. The World Health Organization states that depression impacts over 280 million individuals globally, with a rising number of cases among younger people. Traditional psychiatric treatments while often helpful can lead to side effects, dependency, and limited long-term success, leading to a search for additional and integrated methods. Ayurveda, the ancient medical system from India, provides a comprehensive perspective on health that focuses on various areas including the synchronization between body, mind, and spirit. Ayurvedic experiences link mental health issues to imbalances in the doshas (particularly Vata) and the characteristics of the mind (Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas).Published
