Abstract

Exploring the philosophical relevance of the Bhagavad Gita as a foundational text for modern peace education is a necessity in this modern generation. The teachings of Lord Krishna to Arjuna emphasises essential values such as selfless action (karma yoga), moral responsibility (dharma), emotional regulation, and universal equality (sama darshana), which align closely with the aims and concepts of peace pedagogy, promoting nonaggression, empathy, clarity, and global responsibility.
