Abstract

In today’s dynamic and competitive business environment, organizational agility has emerged as a critical determinant of success. It reflects an organization's ability to adapt, innovate, and respond promptly to market changes and customer demands. Leveraging cross-functional collaboration is a strategic approach to enhancing organizational agility by breaking down silos and fostering cohesive teamwork across diverse departments. This paper explores how cross-functional collaboration facilitates knowledge sharing, accelerates decision-making, and promotes innovative problem-solving, ultimately improving an organization's ability to pivot in rapidly changing environments. Through the integration of diverse skills and perspectives, organizations can create synergies that drive efficiency, align strategic goals, and build resilience against uncertainties. Furthermore, this study underscores the importance of leadership, communication, and technological enablers in ensuring seamless collaboration. It also highlights the challenges associated with managing interdepartmental dynamics and offers actionable strategies to mitigate potential conflicts.
