Abstract

This article explores the integration of green skills with mindful practices—such as yoga, breath work, and meditation—in school curricula as a holistic response to the twin crises of climate change and youth mental health. Drawing on global research and educational frameworks, it highlights how mindfulness enhances ecological awareness, emotional resilience, and ethical engagement. The synergy between sustainability education and embodied practices fosters deeper learning, eco-conscious behaviour, and student empowerment. Implementation strategies include cross-disciplinary curriculum design, teacher training, and community partnerships. While practical challenges persist, evidence suggests that this integrated model can transform education into a vehicle for both personal and planetary well-being.
