Abstract

This research canvass how artificial intelligence (AI) technologies intersect with corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to drive sustainable growth in modern start-ups. Artificial Intelligence enables start-ups to automatize routine tasks, analyze big data, optimize decision-making, and deliver personalized customer experiences. AI technologies provide start-ups with the scalability and adaptability needed for competitive advantage. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) helps start-ups build brand trust, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and differentiate themselves in crowded markets. Modern consumers and investors increasingly prefer businesses that contribute to social and environmental causes. AI provides the tools for smarter, faster operations, while CSR provides the values to guide ethical, sustainable growth. Together, they help start-ups innovate responsibly, earn trust, and achieve lasting success. Through a multi-case study analysis, we explore how start-ups leverage AI not only for operational efficiency but also to embed socially responsible praxis into their business models. Findings reveal that strategic integration of AI into CSR efforts enhances brand reputation, operational sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and long-term profitability. We conclude with a framework for start-ups aiming to align AI deployment with CSR for sustainable competitive advantage.
