Abstract

This study examines the socioeconomic and cultural barriers limiting women's access to digital learning in developing nations. It explores the impacts of these obstacles—rooted in economic constraints, traditional gender roles, limited infrastructure, and societal norms—on women's participation in online education and skill development. By analyzing the intersection of financial dependency, care giving duties, digital illiteracy, and restrictive cultural expectations, the review highlights the gendered challenges that hinder equitable access to digital resources. Recommendations include implementing targeted policies, digital literacy programs, and financial inclusion initiatives to bridge the digital gender divide and empower women in these regions.
