Abstract

The future of teacher education is no longer confined to lecture halls or pedagogy manuals, it is being shaped by the discoveries of neuroscience and the lived realities of culture. As brain research unravels how memory, attention, and emotion guide learning, and culturally responsive pedagogy affirms the centrality of identity and equity in classrooms, a powerful new framework is emerging: culturally responsive neuroeducation. This approach recognizes that the mind is not just a biological organ but also a cultural landscape where neural processes and cultural experiences intersect to shape learning. Neuroeducation highlights how learning is influenced by neuroplasticity, cognition, and emotion, while culturally responsive pedagogy emphasizes inclusivity and affirmation of diverse identities.
