TECHNO-PEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES FOR HOLISTIC LEARNING IN ECCE

Abstract

This chapter explores techno-pedagogical approaches for holistic learning in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), highlighting the integration of digital tools with child-centered pedagogy to foster balanced growth across cognitive, socio-emotional, physical, creative, and linguistic domains. Grounded in constructivist, sociocultural, and holistic educational theories, the discussion emphasizes principles such as child-centeredness, developmental appropriateness, balance between digital and experiential play, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity. Practical strategies are outlined to support cognitive reasoning, empathy, motor coordination, creativity, and communication through interactive applications, storytelling, simulations, and collaborative platforms.
