Inclusion, equity, and cultural awareness should not only be treated but closely integrated with the development of new ways of thinking about and promoting multicultural education and global perspectives in educational systems. Multicultural education proceeds, with different perspectives and the removal of systematic inequalities, the traits of being empathetic, culturally competent, and socially just. It connects such concepts to worldwide perspectives, where the students can act on critical issues, such as climate change, social justice, and economic inequality and on the other hand, it also sustains the mutual relationship and global citizenship. This concept of training students for a more diverse world — a world that has cooperation and mutual respect as the core components. Multicultural education combined with the global perspectives needs an overhaul in the curriculum, culturally-oriented pedagogies, and professional development of educators. The environments thus formed are the inclusive-equitable environments where students' development goes up to a level where they constitute the creation of a world community which is empathetic, knowledgeable, and socially responsible one based on justice and sustainability.Published
