Abstract

The healthcare industry is undergoing a sea change driven by technological advancements, population trends, and the growing demand for accessible and equitable care. In this new environment, digital leadership is a critical set of skills for healthcare institutions to position leaders to harness innovation while maintaining patient-centered values. Digital leadership goes beyond the adoption of technology; it is about vision-setting, collaboration, ethical decision-making, and creating a learning culture within health organizations. This chapter discusses the digital leaders' role in bringing telemedicine, artificial intelligence (AI), and e-learning into the healthcare system.
