To ensure that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential and to create a just and inclusive society, gender equality in education is essential. By achieving gender equality in the classroom, a more inclusive and equitable society can be attained. However, classrooms around the world still face problems caused by cultural, institutional, and socioeconomic factors, impending gender parity and having a visible effect on students' academic performance and life outcomes. This paper examines the present status of gender equality in education, along with the challenges encountered and the pathways to promote practical strategies to overcome the situation. With an emphasis on different issues, this study investigates the obstacles in educational spheres which sustain gender differences. It highlights how students' educational experiences and outcomes are impacted by biases, gender stereotypes and access hurdles. These disparities result from institutional gaps, discriminatory behaviours and ingrained preconceptions all of which exacerbate an unfair learning environment. To create an inclusive classroom that promotes the development and achievements of every student regardless of gender, these obstacles must be removed. Thus, this paper focuses on strategies legislators and educators can employ to overcome these obstacles and promote equality, such as laws to reduce resource gaps, gender-sensitive teacher preparation programs and inclusive curricula. The analysis provides a thorough examination of the effects of gender disparity on student engagement and accomplishment by utilizing case studies. Addressing gender disparities in the classroom is not just morally correct, but it also serves as an essential initial move towards long-term societal progress.Published
