Abstract

Adolescent fertility remains a pressing public health and sociocultural concern in India's tribal communities. This case study examines the determinants of adolescent fertility in select tribal regions, focusing on sociocultural practices, education, health awareness, gender roles, and access to reproductive healthcare. Using in-depth interviews, participant observation, and focus groups, the study explores how tribal norms and socioeconomic conditions contribute to early childbearing. The findings highlight the need for culturally sensitive, community-driven interventions.
