In today’s competitive business environment, organizations increasingly recognize that employee engagement is a critical driver of productivity, innovation, and organizational success. However, maintaining sustained motivation among employees remains a persistent challenge for Human Resource (HR) departments. The integration of gamification—the application of game design principles and reward systems in non-gaming contexts—has emerged as an innovative strategy to enhance engagement, learning, and performance in the workplace. This study, titled “Gamification in HR: Boosting Employee Engagement through Reward Systems,” examines how gamified approaches in HR practices influence employee motivation, participation, and overall organizational outcomes. The research explores the concept of gamification through the lens of behavioral psychology and motivation theories, such as Self-Determination Theory (Deci and Ryan, 2000) and Expectancy Theory (Vroom, 1964), which emphasize intrinsic and extrinsic motivators.Published
