Abstract

Spiritual intelligence in school education emphasizes the integration of spiritual values, principles, and reflective practices into the teaching–learning process to promote students’ holistic development. It nurtures qualities such as mindfulness, empathy, compassion, and self-awareness, thereby fostering character building, emotional intelligence, and moral integrity. Research highlights spirituality’s significant role in enhancing students’ well-being, academic growth, and global citizenship by developing resilience, adaptability, and ethical consciousness. By embedding spiritual intelligence within educational frameworks, schools can create meaningful, purpose-driven, and inclusive learning environments that address the emotional, moral, and intellectual dimensions of learners. Thus, spiritual intelligence serves as a vital foundation for cultivating responsible, thoughtful, and compassionate individuals equipped to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
