The qualitative study explores the impact of Helicopter Parenting and Love Bombing on the mental health of young adults. Excessive parental control and overprotection, though often driven by affection and concern, can lead to anxiety, emotional dependency, social withdrawal, and underdeveloped life skills among adolescents and emerging adults. The research highlights how such parenting styles hinder autonomy, problem-solving, and emotional regulation. Prevention and intervention strategies such as parental counselling, awareness programs, mental health workshops, and behavioral training are essential to mitigate these effects. Encouraging open communication, setting healthy boundaries, and promoting self-reflection and responsibility can strengthen parent-child relationships while supporting young adults’ psychological well-being. The study emphasizes the importance of balanced parenting for fostering emotional resilience, autonomy, and social competence among future generations.Published
