Human-animal relationship is not a new one. From the early stages of civilization human beings got animals as their most valuable friend. However, at that time, animals were mostly used for food and clothes. Later times, human started taming the wilds and uses for agricultural purposes, transportation and many more. Though, the matter of psychological connectedness with animals came up in a much later stage, we also get to know about such ancient sources where animals are mere pet of human. The most important example is of Bhimbetka cave in Madhya Pradesh, India, where a common eye can observe a man with a chained dog like animal.Published
