Abstract

Neurodiversity has become a paradigm shift in explaining the difference in human cognition where neurological differences (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia) are seen as a normal and welcome type of human diversity instead of a weakness. Neurodiversity is an opportunity and a challenge to organizations that endeavour to create inclusive workplaces, innovative, and high-performing workplaces in the modern workplace. The old methods of managing talent tend to give precedence to the standardized norms of cognitive and behaviour, at the expense of neurodivergent individuals, even though they have specific talents that are not common to all people, including problem-solving, creativity, pattern recognition and analytical thinking. This paper addresses the concept of neurodiversity in the workplace as a recent frontier in inclusive talent management, including organization practices, inclusion approaches and the effects of neurodiverse hiring on performance and innovation. The available literature review, methodological study and comparative analysis have enabled the research to emphasize the significance of inclusive policies, workplace accommodations, and cultural changes that are needed in order to benefit the neurodiverse talent to its full potential. The findings indicate that the neurodiversity acceptance encourages not only social equity but also the organizational resilience, productivity, and competitiveness in the long-term.
