Abstract

The modern business world is marked by the high rates of disruption due to the fast-paced technological progress, globalization, digital change, geopolitical instability, global changes in the climate, and the shifting demands of the workforce. Traditional leadership models are becoming less and less effective in this volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment. Strategic leadership is now considered an important capability that helps organizations embrace change by being anticipatory, proactive and maintaining a competitive advantage amidst their constant disruption.
