Abstract

Emotional well-being plays a very crucial role in academic growth, in social life, and overall quality of life among college students. Recent researches show that physiotherapy isa holistic health discipline contributing to physical rehabilitation and also to both psychological and emotional balance. Evidence shows that physiotherapy interventions, including exercise-based programs, techniques and ergonomic advice, reduce psychological and emotional factors like anxiety, stress, and depression while improving mood, sleep cycle, and self-esteem. This chapter aims to explain how physiotherapy improves and enhances emotional well-being through both neurological and physiological mechanisms, mind-body interactions, and structured movement therapy. Previous studies present physical activities with mental health, show psychological and social aspects of physiotherapy education, and conduct institutional strategies for integrating physiotherapy into higher education health programs. This chapter aims to highlight the importance of the physiotherapy evidence-based tool for enhancing emotional resilience, body awareness and promoting positive mental health among college students.
