Abstract

This review paper explores the complex interplay between tourism and climate change, focusing on adaptation strategies to mitigate environmental challenges. The paper synthesizes existing literature to examine the impacts of climate change on tourism destinations, highlighting vulnerabilities such as extreme weather events, sea-level rise, and ecosystem degradation. Furthermore, it evaluates various adaptation measures implemented by governments, businesses, and communities within the tourism sector to address these challenges.
