India is a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic and Republic country. There is no doubt that many a times India has rightly proved these qualities crowned on her successfully. Said so, if we go through the Directive Principles of State we come across justice ,liberty and equality- social, economic that have been bestowed on us by our forefathers with immense faith that they would not get exploited ,but unfortunately if we drive deep into these concepts a typical question creeps up in our mind and makes some of us restless and that is “Are we really Socialist in its truest sense?” or “Are we rational while using our liberties and while justifying equality?”. Like most of the nations of the world, India is also a Patriarchal society where women lack the first seat in most of the aspects(unfortunately). Yet luckily, thanks to our modern outlook and ideologies Indian Women now- a-days are gearing up with zeal and enthusiasm to quench their quest of knowledge and moving forward with pride. But what lags behind still now is the Third Gender or The Transgender Class. This article deals with the government policies led down for the Transgender masses and their intervention with an outlook to bring them at par with general public under one roof.Published
