Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has evolved from a speculative innovation into a transformative force that is fundamentally reshaping global societal structures. From revolutionizing industrial operations and healthcare systems to redefining communication, governance, and human interaction, AI permeates all aspects of modern life. This study critically examines the long-term societal implications of AI integration, with particular attention to labour market disruptions, ethical governance, privacy erosion, and human identity transformation. Utilizing qualitative analysis based on multidisciplinary secondary sources, the paper underscores both the emancipatory potential and inherent dangers of AI proliferation. The research calls for proactive policy frameworks, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ethically embedded design principles to ensure that AI development aligns with the collective well-being of humanity.
