Abstract

The term artificial intelligence may sound intimidating to some, but it has been in use for decades and its use is simpler than that one can imagine. AI is in every area of our lives, whether we try to read our email, getting driving directions or start a new business. We use AI in our day to day life such as e- mail communication, social media, web searching, stores and services and even offline experiences. The commonly used word Artificial Intelligence means branch of computer science that deals with writing computer programs that can solve problems and structures. AI helps in smart replies in Gmail. Like, ‘thanks, let’s do this’ is a phase set by artificial intelligence so that it helps to answer similar types of answers quickly. It also helps in nudging remainder in email so that one can check the forgotten mails. Even it help when some mails are kept unseen or unread , it helps to notify automatically to check such mails if there is any important mail left out or not. Artificial Intelligence cannot replace human discretion, which is necessary for the Judge's decision making. AI can have an important role in tribunals like ITAT in docket management and decision making, etc. Additional to this, we can employ artificial intelligence in courts which can help us in reading speed of 1 million characters per second, along with this, it can be used to read and extract all relevant facts, compute tax effect and assist in a myriad of ways to propel the pace of decision making.
