HARMONIC MIND: A WEB-BASED BINAURAL BEATS GENERATOR WITH EMOTION SIMULATION

Abstract

We introduce Harmonic Mind, an innovative web-based binaural beats generator integrating real-time auditory synthesis, emotion-driven frequency modulation, and dynamic user interface visualizations. By leveraging modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS (Tailwind), and the Web Audio API, Harmonic Mind synthesizes interactive auditory entrainment experiences grounded in affective computing. The project employs simple yet powerful algorithms—binaural beat generation, emotion mapping, randomized emotion simulation, countdown timers, and state-based visualization—to create a cognitive wellness environment that engages users both intellectually and emotionally. This chapter situates Harmonic Mind within contemporary research on auditory neurostimulation, emotion-sound mapping, and digital mindfulness, presenting a strong theoretical basis supported by empirical and computational analysis. The results demonstrate promising usability and user engagement outcomes, highlighting its potential as a framework for digital therapeutic and educational applications.
