Mathematics is often perceived as a technical and abstract subject. When we taught Mathematics with a focus on its practical applications and its role in understanding the world, can instil values like regularity, discipline, honesty and logical thinking which also highlights aesthetic values. Co-curricular activities provide a platform for students to learn and practice values in a less formal setting, complementing classroom learning. However, when integrated with co-curricular activities, it has the potential to promote values such as critical thinking, cooperation, integrity, problem solving and perseverance also empathy, leadership, discipline, and responsibility. Values are not involved in nature they are acquired and inculcated. Value-based education when integrated with mathematics subject through co-curricular activities can foster a holistic development in students. Value formation is a critical component of education that contribute to the overall development of students. This paper explores how math-related co- curricular activities can serve as powerful tools for value-based education. Using qualitative methods such as classroom observation, interviews, and activity analysis the study demonstrates how values can be meaningfully embedded in mathematical engagement beyond the traditional classroom setup.Published
