The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and digital tools into educational systems has emerged as a transformative approach to promoting value-based education in the 21st century. Value-based education, which emphasizes moral, ethical, and social values, plays a crucial role in shaping responsible and empathetic individuals. ICT offers dynamic platforms—such as interactive multimedia, online learning environments, and collaborative applications—that enhance engagement and provide innovative avenues for instilling core values. Digital tools like educational games, virtual simulations, and storytelling applications can be strategically designed to foster empathy, cultural sensitivity, integrity, and environmental awareness among learners. Moreover, online discussion forums, digital storytelling, and global classroom collaborations enable cross-cultural understanding and promote tolerance, respect, and cooperation. The adaptability of ICT also facilitates personalized learning experiences, ensuring that moral lessons are contextualized to suit learners’ cultural and societal backgrounds. In teacher education, digital platforms equip educators with interactive resources and pedagogical strategies to embed values in subject teaching. However, effective integration requires careful planning to avoid superficial engagement and to ensure alignment with ethical and pedagogical principles. By combining technological innovation with value-driven curricula, ICT can serve as a powerful catalyst for nurturing socially responsible citizens equipped to address global challenges. This synergy between technology and ethics signifies a progressive shift toward holistic education in the digital era.Published
