Abstract

The influence of technology can be seen in every area of our lives; however, the impact f technology on education has been the most noticeable in recent years. The word computer is Latin word, means to calculate. Today, our education system is fully computer based and operated through various digital devices and technologies like word processing (Libra Office Writer), spread Sheet (Libra Office Clc), and paper presentation in conferences, symposium and workshops (Libra Office Impress). Besides this, internet, www, Email, social networking, e-governance services, digital financial tools, and cyber security techniques also helpful to boost-up our education system and students as well. This chapter discusses the education sector being in a state of crisis partly due to reckless commercialization and politicization which must be rebuilt with a step-by-step strategy and a national consensus that commits to insulate it from narrow political considerations parallel with advancement of the educational technologies and digital devices.
