INCLUSIVE EDUCATION: CHALLENGES IN COMPLIANCE AND RESOURCE UTILIZATION

Abstract

Inclusive education is defined as teaching All students together in the same classroom no matter their differences. The goal of inclusive education used to provide equal learning opportunities for all students including students with disabilities and diverse needs. In recent years, educational institutions have made a lot of efforts to implement inclusive education policies to promote equality and social inclusion among peoples. And also several challenges raised in ensuring proper compliance with these policies and in effectively utilizing available resources. Schools and colleges are required to adapt their teaching methods, curriculum, infrastructure, and support services to meet the needs of all learners. These changes require cooperation from teachers, administrators, parents, and policymakers. Limited financial resources, lack of trained teachers, insufficient learning materials, and inadequate assistive technologies often act as major barriers to successful implementation. In addition gaps in policy awareness and monitoring affect compliance with inclusive education guidelines. This chapter aims to understand main problems in implementing inclusive education, with special focus on compliance issues and resource utilization. Effective use of educational resources plays an important role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Inclusive education when properly implemented helps improve participation learning outcomes and social development of students.
