Abstract

Gender disparity remains a significant barrier to women empowerment in both rural and urban areas. Despite the various significant progress in gender equality initiatives, differences exist in areas such as education, healthcare access, employment and political representation. Addressing these factors holistically will not only uplift individual women but also contribute to the socio-economic growth and stability of communities. Collaborative efforts from local communities, government, non-governmental organizations and are crucial for sustainable gender equality. Through targeted interventions such as universal education access, vocational training, microloans for women entrepreneurs, legal protections, and community awareness campaigns, we can foster environments conducive to equal participation and empowerment. This paper explores the multifaceted measures required to eliminate these disparities, emphasizing education, economic opportunities, healthcare, legal rights, social norms, political participation, and infrastructure improvements. Societies can progress towards social justice as well as sustainable development goals.
