Abstract

The Indian Knowledge System (IKS) is a vast and varied body of knowledge that focuses on overall growth, combining mental, spiritual, and moral development. This paper looks at the importance of IKS in promoting complete development, its main principles, and its usefulness in today's education. By understanding how IKS affects teaching ideas and practices, this study reveals how IKS can help develop individuals who are balanced and can contribute positively to society. The National Education Policy 2020 stresses the need to include Indian Knowledge System (IKS) in education. This can help preserve India's cultural heritage and promote fair learning. To do this well, we need a planned approach that includes changes to the curriculum, teacher training, and teamwork in research. By tackling challenges and using strategies like thorough curriculum planning, strong teacher training, and technology, we can give students a complete education, a sense of cultural identity, and skills that are useful in today's world.
