Abstract

In this study Vivekananda's practical Vedanta is the realization of theoretical and practical Vedanta in human life. On it, he emphasizes upon the teaching of Vedanta. The idea of unity or oneness in the cosmoses is the central idea of Vedanta philosophy. This oneness is not only in the multiplicity but also in the facts and ideals, present and future. His realization for the present degeneration of Indian philosophy is the lack of faith in themselves and hence, he urges to have faith in themselves; in their heritage, philosophy, language, literature physical, mental and spiritual strength. This faith is essentially as an Atman, a part of the Brahman, the universal and Ultimate force present everywhere. In the modern society inequality problem is one of the major problem between both sexes even to read the Vedas. Vivekananda criticizes the notions and urges to implement for practical Vedanta in the human life.
