Abstract

The ability of the mind to influence the body and its physiological reactions is used in mind-body treatments. Thus, they have an impact on health. Researchers are becoming more interested in positive sensations of wellbeing as a factor that influences health. Numerous observable health outcomes and advantages have been linked to higher levels of wellbeing, which can be conceptualized in a variety of ways, such as pleasure, flourishing, and subjective wellbeing. Relaxation, visualization, biofeedback, meditation, hypnosis, tai chi, yoga, and other mind-body techniques alter important neurocognitive, psycho-emotional, and biophysical processes that may be implicated in promoting healthy behaviors and healthcare involvement. GI interventions have been used for a range of rehabilitation populations, such as those with arthritis, cancer, cardiac surgery, critical illness/intensive care unit (ICU) patients, fibromyalgia, headaches, musculoskeletal pain, and stroke. They frequently assist patients in experiencing healing for their illnesses in novel and different ways.
