Human Resources Development (HRD) is central in the increase in employee performance, motivation, and organizational effectiveness. In this research paper, the author analyzes the HRD programs in Godavari Sugars Ltd., Mudhol TQ, Bagalkote District with reference to training, development programs, performance appraisal systems and employee engagement programs. The study design is the mixed-method design, which incorporates quantitative and qualitative data obtained via survey among employees and HR record and structured interviews between HR managers and employees respectively. The findings indicate that, godavari Sugars Ltd. has adopted elaborate strategies of HRD that encompass skill development programs, leadership training and continuous performance appraisal, which have had a favorable influence on the competence and satisfaction of the employees. Nevertheless, there are still issues, including the lack of accessibility to developed training facilities, an uneven distribution of involvement into development initiatives in the departments, and the lack of alignment between the employee development and the organizational objectives.Published
