CONCEIVING AN ARTISTIC PERFORMANCE - DEMANDING TEXTUAL DIAGNOSIS THROUGH LEARNING DYNAMISM

Performance gatherings or easily consumable visual pattern-making, lacking structural integrity, often turn into hollow spectacles under the name of “image.” The artificiality, meaninglessness, mechanical exercises, and superficial cleverness in such visual arrangements are evident. Those who interpret theatre merely as such technical exercises may even label it “contemporary theatre.” If playwrights devote their primary creative mission solely to such performative entertainment, claiming that this is what present-day writing demands, it becomes a dangerous approach—one that negates the fundamental impulse of literature and art, and is life-denying and politically regressive.Published
